DirectoryNotFoundException
April 17, 2013 Leave a comment
An issue has been reported in version 5.0.4402.8500 of ReflectInsight.
Exception Type: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException
Message: Could not find a part of the path C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\ReflectSoftware\ReflectInsight\Live.States.xml’.
We’ve identified the issue and it relates to a missing folder in the user AppData path for ReflectSoftware. If you previously had ReflectInsight installed then you don’t get this issue. This only applies to installs on clean machines where ReflectInsight has not been installed.
Until a new build is released, you can work around this issue by creating this missing directory manually. You want to create the following folder path:
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\ReflectSoftware\ReflectInsight\
When that path exists, the Viewer will start up as expected.
The issue has been resolved and will be included in the next build, coming out later today.
We’re sorry for this inconvenience.
